About Lite Tools

Lite Tools (55k6.com) is a collection of 90 everyday tools and 37 small games. Everything runs in your browser. Files never leave your device. No sign-up, no cost.

What we make

The tools cover PDF processing, image editing, developer utilities, text tools, calculators, timers and health estimators. On top sit 37 games such as 2048, Snake, Solitaire and Gomoku. One tool per page, ready to use. Every page ships with steps, an FAQ and notes, so a first visit is enough to get started.

Unlike most online tool sites, the processing happens in your browser. When you merge a PDF, compress an image or format JSON, the file never touches a server. Contracts, scanned documents and tokens stay on your machine. Once the page has loaded, it keeps working offline.

The site currently has 293 pages across Chinese and English, plus 14 bilingual guides. It is deliberately small: every page has a clear job, and no page exists to pad the count.

How the content is made

We write the tools and the articles ourselves. Nothing is scraped and nothing is bulk-generated. Every tool goes through the same process before release:

  1. Selection: only frequent, general-purpose tasks that suit local processing. No filler features.
  2. Implementation and self-testing: pure front-end code, no back end. The developer walks through the page on keyboard and touch.
  3. Automated tests: every tool ships with tests. The 37 games alone carry 4,100+ assertions, plus cross-browser UI checks for layout, cell sizes, overlays and keyboard access.
  4. Bilingual docs: Chinese and English pages are written side by side. If either language falls behind, the build fails.

After release

Shipping is not the finish line. Reported problems (mobile layout, board rendering, edge cases in formulas) follow the same loop: reproduce, fix, re-run the full test suite, then deploy. Formula changes are documented on the affected page. Every release refreshes the sitemap and pings search engines.

Honest limits

Pure front-end has boundaries, and we say so: very large files are limited by device memory; some formats (certain video codecs, HEIC) behave differently across browsers; health and tax calculators follow published standards but do not replace a doctor or an accountant. Individual tool pages spell out their own limits.

Privacy and advertising

The site is static, has no back end and no accounts, so there is nowhere for your input to be stored. See the privacy policy. A few Google AdSense ads keep the site free; they sit in the content area and never cover tools or game boards.

Contact

Feature requests, bug reports and partnership enquiries all go through the contact page. Most reports get a reply within a few days.
